Wow
I just read something on a friend's site that really struck me:
"I'll leave it on one note, something I have thought about a bit, and think is true. Someone crying out of something other than sadness or hurt is the highest compliment someone can give. Crying is a breakdown of logical emotions, a persons most expressive gesture, and it seems that whatever causes it is intense. Crying out of happyness, joy, love, anything really is something that should be treasured because it really dosen't happen often, and because it means so much."-JZ
Thank you J, I had never fully understood why I cry without really even feeling sad at all. I've cried being held by him or by him saying something especially meaningful, getting an amazing compliment from a friend, being successful doing something that I never thought that I could do, thinking about things that don't even affect me, listening to a good song, etc. It doesn't happen often, as J suggested, but I guess now I don't feel quite so stupid about doing it.
